On behalf of the 40 children with special needs and their families, as well as the 70+ volunteers and therapists (totaling close to 200 people), we wish to thank First Niagara for sponsoring the Camp Care 10th Anniversary event – ZotArtz; painting for all kids. This was an amazing and very big event – several town honorarians and previous donors were able to come and observe the many children enjoy this special activity, sponsored by First Niagara. Children ages 5 to 21 were able to express themselves and leave their mark on this huge work of art. Dwayn Szot, from Wisconsin, travels throughout the country with his equipment and supplies and we were able to offer this program here in Connecticut with your generous help; a $3500 grant for this cause.

From this beautiful project came a mural and three large paintings, two auctioned off for $400 each, the other to be auctioned at our third annual Galloping Gala Spetember 28. There will also be notecards made from the painting for sale starting in September. Please enjoy the attached photos as the project began to take shape over a three hour period. We will be setting up a display with one of the large paintings, and several pictures at First Niagara in Columbia.
